5. Pro Marketplace — Data Visibility

Pool Route Pro and Enterprise subscribers who participate in the Pro Marketplace have their business name, service area, and offered services displayed to homeowners searching for pool professionals. Enterprise subscribers also have their website URL displayed. This is voluntary — participation is controlled through your account settings.

Homeowner contact information submitted through a Marketplace inquiry is shared with the matched pool service professional for the purpose of following up on the service request.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you cancel your account, we retain your data for up to 90 days to allow for account recovery and to fulfill any remaining legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

Billing records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by applicable tax and accounting laws.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, maintain your session, and remember your preferences. We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Most browsers allow you to control cookie settings. Disabling essential cookies may impair Service functionality.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and secure authentication via Firebase and Google OAuth. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you to use strong, unique passwords and to notify us immediately of any suspected security breach.

Genie AI relies on third-party AI infrastructure (including Anthropic's Claude API) to process the data you submit. While we have contractual protections in place with our AI provider — including a prohibition on using your data to train their models — we do not control that provider's systems and cannot guarantee against a security incident, unauthorized access, or a future change in that provider's own data handling practices. Any such event affecting a third-party provider would be governed by that provider's own privacy and security practices, in addition to any contractual remedies available to us.
